Design a complete braking system for the vehicle you selected and the system must be able to stop the vehicle under 50 meters @100 km/hr. make simulation reports of brake disc and pedal and complete assembly of the braking system.
Design a constant mesh transmission with multi-step gear reduction for the car you selected. Take engine input data as per your own but this transmission should be designed for the type of vehicle you chose and gather all the necessary information necessary for the gear reduction and engine performance charts.
Design suspension (front and rear both) for single/ 2 seater vehicle you selected with all loads. Calculate all motion ratio, natural frequency, ride rate; ride height, travel, roll angle and all other aspects required to confirm the suspension geometry make complete Cad design and simulation on maximum load.
Design tubular space frame chassis for the car you selected. Make complete CAD and FEA of chassis as per requirements. Create FV and SV suspension geometry and Steering calculations to confirm the Chassis design. Make necessary assumptions by suspension and steering calculation.
Design double-wishbone suspension geometry for the offroad vehicles. The vehicle should have 15” ground clearance. Make complete Cad design and calculations for the vehicle. Calculate all parameters for suspension like motion ratio, ride rate, natural frequency, ride height and roll center location, wishbone geometry. (Please refer to Baja vehicle for data).
Make a cad model, do required simulation for formula student and ATV chassis refer SAE Baja and SAE supra rule books.
